Alluvial Farms
Alluvial Farms is owned and managed by Katie Pencke and Matthew McDermott. They have raised hogs and grown organic grains on 45 acres of farmland in Everson, Washington since 2016. They are highly personally invested in conservation efforts in Washington and on their property, including setting aside ten acres of the farm along a salmon bearing stream for a forest planting as part of the federal Conservation Reserve Program.
We met Katie and Matthew through Cloud Mountain Farm, where Matthew previously worked, and we are delighted to now be collaborating with Matthew and Katie on their first vineyard planting.
