NICCOLO COTURRI Pomme de Mer Sparkling Apple 2023
Our last release of the 2024 season, the culmination of our five years fermenting fruit on the San Juan Islands, the “Pomme de Mer” sparkling.
The first fruit wine to be bottled under the Niccolo Coturri label, featuring local San Juan Island artist Glenn Hendrick’s beautifully artwork, and the amazing apples grown on Waldron Island. Homestead era, heirloom varieties grown organically next to the sea. End of season fruit from 2023 that we held in the winery until 2024 for a mid winter ferment.
Dry, sparkling, apple-y. Call it wine, call it cider. It’s apple season, the wine is delicious and ready to go.
