Blue Moon Farm

Blue Moon Farm is located on Waldron Island, one of our neighboring islands at the northernmost tip of the US bordering Canada.

Rebecca and her team are dedicated to ecological farming practices and use no chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. They also incorporate elements of biodynamic agriculture and permaculture principles to work the decomposing sandstone soils, resulting in some of the most delicious fruits and vegetables we have ever tasted.

The apple trees are from the original farmstead plantings of the late 1800s. Varieties are mixed, and include King of Tompkins County, Wagners, and Greenings, and ripen from August to November. The apples grow alongside the vegetable and berry plots, next to the Salish Sea.
